My girl Jens Wedding!

I just have to say how much I love this girl!!!! This is my good friend Jen from AZ. We ran track together in college and I have loved her ever since. Last weekend I went home to go see her wedding. This night was perfect! I loved every minute of it. The wedding was at the Firesky Resort in Scottsdale. It was SO romantic. The candle light, the music, the bride and groom, the AMBIANCE. It was gorgeous. There were pools of water and streams connecting them throughout the entire courtyard. Beautiful-is ALL I can say.
This is Jen and Jimmy.

Ok I have to share this story: Me and my sister Megan were talking to Jimmy and Jen was standing behind us talking to someone else. He was great, chatting it up with us and being so sweet. But the best part is he wasnt looking at me and Meg he was looking through us and at his new bride and couldnt take his eyes off her. PRECIOUS!
I loved this night. I had met Jimmy before, but it was like once a year when I was passing through and meeting Jen for lunch. He always seemed cool but this night was SO much fun to see how much he loves my girl Jen. I loved seeing this side of him. She deserves it and I loved being a part of her special night. It was the most romantic wedding I have EVER been too.
So you may wonder why I posted about my friends wedding...
I debated whether I should post this or not bc it wasnt MY day. But HER day affected me so much! I love how it made me feel. I love the memories that came back to me about my wedding day and how Isaac couldnt take his eyes off me. It was so much fun to see the bride and groom so in love and sweet to each other. I loved the dress, loved the best man speech, loved the desserts :), and LOVED the Firesky Resort. It was amazing! I am just so happy for her. I love it when my friends marry great people. And it has happened again. Yay!

Little AJ is 1

Alli just had her first birthday last Tuesday. So we had some family over to celebrate. I cant believe how fast this year has flown by. We have had A LOT happen: with Isaac getting Cancer, having surgery, it coming back, then 3 months of Chemo, and all his monthly follow ups. Im amazed it has been 365 days already! Here is a newborn photo of her...dont you just want to cuddle with her! This is footage of her first cry right after she was born. I love it!

Alli at her birthday party.

Alli you are such a sweet, spoiled little girl. When I say spoiled its not bc you get everything you want. Its bc you DEMAND so much attention. Your brothers love you so much! They are always holding your hands so you can walk around the house which is your favorite thing to do right now. They love to take you upstairs and play with you in their room. You are constantly carried around by your cousin Brooklyn or she is pushing you in her doll stroller. I pretty much have a little personal babysitter when Brooky is around. She adores you and you love to be with her. You get so excited when Daddy comes home after work. The minute you hear his voice you start wiggling your whole body until he comes to pick you up. You add so much to our family Alli and we love you so much! Happy birthday little girl.

Ninjas, vampires, and fairies...Oh My.

Last Saturday we went to Cornbellys with Isaac's family and all the little cousins dressed up. Tyler and Asher were SOOOO excited to finally get to wear their costumes!

This place has really changed since the last time we went. They have so many fun things for the kids to do now. They have haunted houses, slides, huge bouncy things, tons of fun backdrops to take pictures, go kart tracks, pumpkin launching, mechanical bull riding, and pig races! We didnt even make it to the corn maze.
And I cant forget to mention sweet little Fairy Alli.

Me and my Wee-otches!

If you have never been before you have to go next year! Witches Night Out up at Gardner Village. OMG!!!! Such a fun night. There are lots of little boutiquey shops and cute cobblestone streets, CARMEL APPLES, and a seriously crowded dance floor with hundreds of witches. Cant get much better than that!!!!My friend Courtney did my makeup. I felt SO glamourous in a witchy way :)

Meg, Courtney, and me. Struttin our tights.

A bunch of girls from my neighborhood met up first and went to Pei Wei before we headed up to Gardner Village. I love these sexy witches!

Meg and I at Pei Wei. So yummy! I love that place!!!

My new favorite room

This weekend we got into organization mode at my house...well in our office at least :) I love how it turned out! Isaac designed the layout of the room and my sister Megan used her designing expertise to help decorate and organize the bookshelves. Is she not amazing! Thanks Meg I cant stop staring at our office. I will definately be keeping these doors open all the time now.

Hope you have a "Zoo-rific" Day!

My kids have been begging to go see the new baby elephant up at Hogle Zoo ever since it has been born. Mainly bc the last time we went to the zoo they werent having pachiderm shows bc the Mommy elephant was in labor. Very Cool!!!! So they have been obsessed with getting back to the zoo to see the new baby. So without further ado here is the sweet new little baby elephant Zuri. It was so hard to leave the exhibit. She was so much fun to watch.

My life has drastically changed!!!

My sweet little Asher is finally in preschool. And when I say finally I mean FINALLY :) Ever since he has been potty trained he has asked me everyday "Mom do I go to school today?" This is partly bc during the potty training process I told him he wasnt allowed to go to preschool until he didnt have any accidents. And then his reward was he got a backpack for being completely potty trained. This was such a big deal to him. He loves his backpack. He feels like such a big boy when he wears it. He wants to be like Tyler so bad. Everything Tyler does Asher wants to do to including going to school everyday. He still doesnt understand why he doesnt get to go to school everyday like Ty. But he loves preschool and is so proud of his worksheets he brings home. He takes them out of his backpack and shows them to me first thing when we get home. Its too cute!

Now for my selfish side...I get 3 days a week with just me and Alli, while Asher and Tyler are at school. OMG!!!! I get to go to lunch with friends, do my grocery shopping, or ANYTHING I want to do for those 2 hours. Its so nice. I love it! Remembering back to just 1 kid. Man it was easy. And having that short break from 2 boys is so rejuvenating. I am loving this whole back to school thing.
